Senior Marathi Content Writer:
-Political Communication & Creative Ideation We’re looking for a Senior Marathi Content Writer who understands Maharashtra’s political landscape, follows current affairs closely, and can turn complex subjects into clear, compelling communication.
-You should be an insightful ideator with a strong command of Marathi and the ability to think visually, creating everything from a powerful headline to a reel screenplay with a strong hook, engaging narrative, and memorable ending.
-What You’ll Own Creative Ideation & Campaign Thinking - Develop original ideas for political communication, public awareness campaigns, and social media content.
- Turn briefs, public sentiment, and current developments into relevant creative concepts.
- Build campaign narratives, content themes, and recurring formats that sustain audience interest. - Present ideas with a clear rationale, audience insight, and suggested visual treatment.
Political Writing & Research - Write informed content rooted in an understanding of Maharashtra’s politics, governance, history, and regional issues.
- Stay updated on political developments, public discourse, policy announcements, and social trends.
- Simplify complex political and policy subjects into accessible, engaging Marathi.
- Research and verify facts, figures, quotes, and context before submission.
- Exercise sound editorial judgment around sensitive subjects, public figures, and regional nuances. Compelling Marathi Copy
- Write headlines, slogans, captions, campaign copy, carousels, and other digital and print communication.
- Adapt tone across persuasive, conversational, emotional, informative, and occasion-led content.
- Maintain natural, culturally relevant Marathi with strong grammar and precise expression.
- Develop distinct voices for different communication objectives and audiences.
Job Requirement:
Reel & Video Screenplays
- Write compelling screenplays for reels, short films, explainers, and campaign videos. - Build strong opening hooks, clear narrative progression, effective dialogue, and purposeful endings.
- Think beyond voiceover: specify scenes, actions, visual cues, on-screen text, and transitions.
- Create scripts with a practical understanding of duration, pacing, shoot requirements, and editing possibilities. - Collaborate with designers, editors, and production teams to carry the idea through execution. Quality & Ownership
- Deliver well-researched, proofread work within agreed timelines.
- Respond constructively to feedback and refine content without losing its core thought. - Review final creatives and edits for language accuracy and alignment with the approved script.
- Guide junior writers and contribute actively to creative discussions. What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in Marathi content writing, with a strong portfolio of political or public affairs communication.
- Excellent command of written Marathi, including colloquial expression and regional sensibilities.
- Strong knowledge of current affairs, particularly Maharashtra’s political and social landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to originate ideas and develop them into finished communication.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, supported by reel scripts or video screenplays.
- Research depth, attention to detail, and confidence in explaining your creative choices.
- The ability to manage multiple briefs and respond thoughtfully to time-sensitive developments.
