Job Description:
Role Summary
We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Project Management Consultant who can independently plan, execute, and deliver digital marketing initiatives end-to-end — owning both the strategic/creative side of campaigns and the operational discipline needed to bring them to life on time and on budget. This is a hands-on, hybrid role for someone who can move seamlessly between building a campaign and managing the plan that gets it shipped.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute digital marketing strategies across SEO, SEM, email, social, and paid media (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads), while building the project plans, timelines, and budgets that govern their delivery
- Own campaigns from concept to completion — defining scope, goals, and deliverables, then managing the schedule, resources, and stakeholders needed to execute them
- Build and maintain the marketing/project calendar, coordinating across design, content, dev, and sales teams to keep initiatives aligned and on track
- Manage content production (blogs, newsletters, video, social) as a project workstream — assigning tasks, tracking deadlines, and ensuring on-time, on-brand delivery
- Track campaign and project performance side by side: marketing KPIs (traffic, leads, CAC, ROI, conversions) alongside project metrics (timeline adherence, budget variance, milestone completion), using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Asana, or Jira
- Identify risks and bottlenecks — whether a stalled creative asset or an underperforming channel — and proactively resolve them to keep both the campaign and the timeline on course
- Manage budgets holistically, allocating spend across media/channels and across project resources to maximize ROI and delivery efficiency
- Lead client/stakeholder communication: run kickoffs, status updates, and retrospectives that cover both campaign performance and project progress in one conversation
- Coordinate and direct external agencies, freelancers, and internal contributors, ensuring marketing execution meets both creative standards and delivery deadlines
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform strategy, and translate findings directly into actionable, scheduled project plans
- Build and maintain repeatable SOPs and workflows that make future campaigns faster to plan, execute, and report on
- Stay current on digital marketing trends and platform changes, and continuously refine delivery processes for greater speed and efficiency
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA a plus)
- 4–7+ years of experience spanning digital marketing execution and project/campaign management — this role does not separate the two
- Hands-on proficiency with both marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, SEO platforms, email/marketing automation) and PM tools (Asana, Trello, Jira, Monday.com)
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable moving from a performance dashboard to a project timeline in the same breath
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting combined performance/status updates to clients or leadership
- Demonstrated ability to own a project from strategy through execution without handing off between "marketing" and "PM" functions
- Budget management experience across both media spend and project resourcing
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is a plus, but practical delivery experience matters more
