Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Full Stack Developer to join our Mumbai-based IT team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising modern websites, web applications using frontend, backend, and CMS [including headless CMS] technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong technical fundamentals, practical experience, and the ability to work across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop user-friendly and scalable frontend applications using React.js
Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and related frameworks
Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and integrations
Design, manage, and optimize databases for performance and scalability
Integrate third-party APIs and external services
Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA teams, and project managers
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities

Job Requirement:

Required Technical Skills

Frontend Development

Strong experience with React.js, including Hooks and state management
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with responsive and cross-browser compatible UI development

Backend Development

Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js or similar frameworks
Development of RESTful APIs
Implementation of authentication and authorization mechanisms

Content Management System

Strong knowledge of WordPress core architecture
Custom theme and plugin development
Experience with WordPress hooks, filters, and REST API

Database Technologies

Experience with MySQL or MariaDB
Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Ability to design schemas and optimize database queries

Version Control and Tools

Proficiency in Git and version control workflows
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
Basic understanding of Linux servers and deployment environments

Additional Skills (Good to Have)

Knowledge of Java for web application backend development
Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful services in Java
Exposure to microservices architecture
Experience with Docker and basic CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Understanding of caching mechanisms and CDN usage
Awareness of web security best practices including XSS, CSRF, and SQL injection
Basic experience with unit testing and automated testing tools
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies

Soft Skills
