Job Description:
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Media Analyst to join our team, supporting a leading political client in Maharashtra. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting news and media narratives across traditional and digital platforms. Based on insights, they will craft strategies to either amplify favorable narratives or correct unfavorable ones, strengthening the client’s digital brand and overall public image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor mainstream media, digital platforms, and social media for relevant news and emerging narratives related to the client and the broader political landscape.
- Analyze media coverage to identify trends, sentiment, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive narrative frameworks and content strategies aligned with the client's digital branding goals.
- Collaborate with content, design, and social media teams to implement narrative strategies across platforms.
- Prepare regular reports, insights, and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
- Build and manage a network of media sources to support real-time information flow.
- Support crisis communication efforts by swiftly identifying and mitigating negative narratives
Job Requirement:
Requirements:
- 5–6 years of experience in media analysis, strategic communications, public affairs, or political consulting.
- Strong understanding of Maharashtra’s political landscape, media ecosystem, and cultural nuances.
- Proven experience in content strategy, narrative development, and reputation management.
- Excellent analytical, research, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency with media monitoring tools, social listening platforms, and data visualization (preferred).
- Fluency in English, Marathi, and Hindi is highly desirable.
